  • You know what I did in 2008....

I've been telling everyone I haven't done much in 2008... until I read some of the blog history and re-organise my photos... I guess the biggest thing we did was the big move, an unexpected move, we can finally call this place as "home", is that what you called "settle down"?

Looking back at the photos, the happiest things are not what we've bought and what we've archieved, but it is the laughter and gathering that we had during the year, I now realised friendship is not so easy to develop and I am just so thankful that we have so many of them... we have so many loving friends who add so much colours and love into our lives.

And of course, my loving bu bee who has done so much in this year to build our marriage. Sometimes I feel ashame that I don't try as hard as he does. He's such a big head prawn, but I am a double of that, so he tries really hard to remember everything... I always bring home dirty lunch box from home and it looks & smells horrible but he still wash it so clean for me... I dropped a cup noodle on our black silk carpet but he didn't get upset and quickly clean up straight away... he's not a doctor and thinks everytime I'm "toe ton" it means I need to go to the toilet, but yet he tries so hard to take care me... I'm not so good at cooking but he encourages me by eating everything on the dinner table every night... He loves shopping for himself but he never forgets to think about what he can get for me and for the home... He loves his PS3 and those killing games but he spends a lot more time playing Simpsons with me and often he had to play 2 characters because I simply can't use the controller to jump... We're already in bed but when I suddenly feel like a glass of water, he will go all the way downstairs to get me one...

This is from the sermon of Nicole & Eric's wedding~ the Bible says "Love is Patient, Love is kind...", to my dear bu bee.. thank you for being so patient & so kind to me! xx

A brief review of my 2008 (will also post them eventually on fb)...

  • WOW...

WOW 1 for yesterday: If you fall, get up and take one step at a time and stop complaining about your mis-fortune

WOW 2 for this early morning: If your bosses are fighting, keep your head down and pretend you're very busy

WOW 3 for this late morning: If you want to do some reports, just scribble something and say it's done, someone will ask you to do it again anyway.

WOW 3 for this afternoon: Mortgage calculation is the hardest thing to understand in the world... how the hell can we miss a payment if it's the bank itself who set up the direct debit payment for us in the first place??

  • Lots of ceremonies...

Went to a few ceremonies in the past few months... all are memorable

    Ceremony no.1: 25/9/08?? (or24/9?) CPA ceremony

Long story short: I missed it... I got an invite to get go to my own CPA ceremony and when we went to the hotel it was all empty... we asked the people there and he said "what CPA ceremony? It was yesterday...."

Took some photos anyway... Jason actually wore a tie, organised presents and dinner to celebrate...
